Katie Boulter, Cam Norrie are only Brits in Mutua Madrid Open draw

The injury bug is prevalent throughout professional tennis , but it has hit the British team particularly hard at this year’s Mutua Madrid Open . The Brits only have two players, one woman and one man, in the 128-person singles draws. Thankfully, Katie Boulter and Cam Norrie are healthy because no one else is. Raducanu has not played since Indian Wells. She contracted a viral illness in March and is believed to still be dealing with the aftereffects of it. Draper’s news is heartbreaking. After withdrawing from last year’s US Open with an arm injury, Draper was making his return this year. Worried Emma Navarro fans speculate what caused her sudden withdrawal from Charleston Open

It is no secret that Emma Navarro has struggled on the tennis court lately; however, fans never count her down or out. Navarro concerned many with her Thursday afternoon announcement that she is withdrawing from the Charleston Open . Not only is the Charleston Open her hometown tournament, but also her family owns the event. In the Charleston area, Navarro is pictured on numerous tournament billboards advertising the event. Earlier in the day on Thursday, she posted a note on her Instagram reel about seeing everyone in Charleston on Sunday at a meet and greet as part of her brand ambassador deal with FP Movement. Navarro joined FP Movement in 2026 after years with FILA, and FP Movement is a sponsor of this year’s Charleston Open. Jessica Pegula calls out WTA for photoshopping her picture

Jessica Pegula took a moment out of her preparation for the WTA 1000 Dubai Duty Free Championships final on Saturday against Elina Svitolina to call out the WTA for an obvious photoshop job on her photo. Pegula, 31, advanced to her first career Dubai final with an impressive come from behind win over fellow American Amanda Anisimova. Jessica Pegula has made it to the semifinals of every tournament she entered since last year’s US Open. She will be the more rested of the two players as 2017 and 2018 Dubai champion Elina Svitolina needed three hours to defeat Coco Gauff in the second semifinal of the day.
